I had the immense pleasure of seeing Michael Hedges play live three times before he died in 1997. His live shows were astounding, his albums an absolute joy. He's one of the few musicians that I was truly gutted by his death when I saw it in the obituraries. The music we've missed out on is heartbreaking.
