We love having comments, memories, and suggestions for songs there. So feel free to add those.
I've been following your recent adventure into playing the guitar and am sharing in the joy of that. Other than my kids, and theirs, and theirs, learning and playing is one of the best of my memories that will last my lifetime. It takes one to a place outside of our daily lives and gives back more than we put into it. A dreary life without it, for sure.
Well I wouldn't know quite yet but my joy has always come from my wife and kids, having a hobby like this I think will add a lot too that. I'm not sure I'm qualified to make suggestions but I'd be happy to leave a few comments here and there. I don't think I am an expert on the music enough to suggest a song.
Just like the friday night guitar thread, it has nothing to do with being an expert. It's all about sharing a love and joy that music has and is bringing into our lives. I was just reading a comment on today's song we posted and it was someone telling about how their brother played the song for him. It evoked a memory dear to them and that's the human connection we're looking for.
Last Friday night was the slowest time the Friday night thread had in a long time. Usually we have a lot more songs submitted from over 100 comments. So please stop by any week you can, talk to the others about playing, and when you're ready, and share something with us that you enjoyed doing. It's not about expertise, it's about fun. Good luck.
