Fraud investigator - fired.
Back in 2015, a former government fraud investigator sounded the alarm: millions in taxpayer dollars were being siphoned through daycares.
When asked how big the problem was, his answer was blunt:
“Massive. They didn’t want a fraud unit touching it. It was nothing but a cover-up. We found evidence of companies pulling millions in public subsidies for fake childcare services. At its core, this was the construction of a full-blown criminal enterprise.”
