An easy solution we can all do is keep your delivery boxes. Put rocks in them and re‐seal them. Leave one on your front porch at all times.
If some sucker steals one leave another. Eventually the thieves will have to steal 20 packages just to find a real one. Aside from the risk it’s actual work.

Not sure I'd go with rocks.. they might be angry enough to return them through your windows. Maybe a few ballons filled with water. One gallon of water weighs enough to make a thief think they've got a good score.
