The ones who are doing it for the right reasons wholeheartedly believe that that is what Christians do, plain and simple. When I lost my job to the vaccine mandate, I refused to apply for a religious exemption. Because my faith is not a shield to be used against the world. Being a Christian is being persecuted. You don’t whine, you don’t try to find loopholes. You take it on the chin and give thanks for what you have. Blew a few peoples minds when I tried to explain that when it was all happening.

They want to help, and the immense love they feel in their heart makes them want to bring that joy to even the most depraved people. I agree it’s misguided, but they want everyone to have the same extraordinary relationship with Jesus that they do. I pity them, but I understand why they are compelled to do it.
