You make a great point. To expand on that point, they add minimum wage, wage arbitrage, welfare, UBI and of course, the fed's interest rates they use to set the cost of money.
This is why I'm an advocate of eliminating the fed and fiat currency. The way forward is to go back to gold backed currency.
