I'm sorry brother. I may have seen you or another widower around before. It was a great date, but I'm not feeling sparks in casual text. I wouldn't mind casual dating, not even looking for hookup, just some different type of female interaction

Yeah texting sucks for trying to learn about people. I would rather speak on the phone to others since emotional or bpd people will always read too far into a text or not understand my humor.

I also tell all my friends I'm rarely on phone and don't really text so a call is always easier.
