I find it hilarious that the Lakota consider the Black Hills sacred when they conquered it in 1776, displacing the Cheyenne. Then like 90 years later they got conquered by federal troops..... such a rich legacy..... oh and about 13 miles from Mt. Rushmore they're building the Crazy Horse monument also in the 'sacred' Black Hills..... so sacred.... what a joke.
