Yeah, they know they don't belong, but they don't give a damn. They don't care about British culture. They know nothing about any of the four modern clades. They know nothing about Mercia, Northumbria, Essex, the Clans, nor any of the other kingdoms or tribes that predate Unified Britain. They have no connection to those people, no ancestry. Of course they don't belong, and maybe they know they don't, but it doesn't matter to them anyway, even in an abstract, synthetic, informed-after-the-fact sense. They're just itinerant pigs, snorting and rooting for whatever they want, oblivious to the fact that all those Things They Want(c) are borne of a culture to which they have no connection, because they're from a culture that *could not ever* have made those things, can not and never will provide those things to its own people.
