Isn't 23 a little young to be a flight instructor? Perhaps an older more experienced instructor would been able to prevent the crash or at least lessen its severity.

The Air Force has instructors that are that young. First assignment IPs. But as a general rule: don't fly with student pilots from Africa, the Middle East or Asia. But they do create a lot of good bar stories.

Oh, sounds like this is common knowledge in the field?

I remember when a Saudi student pilot went on his first solo flight, pattern only. We all went up to the tower to watch the fireball. Another one kept taking his hand off the stick while landing and said Alla will save me. Finally, the instructor didn't take the controls and the student got scared and grabbed the stick. The instructor said: I guess Alla didn't save you.

Part of flight training is stall training. You intentionally put the plane into a stall by putting the nose too high and then recovering. She should have been able to handle that situation easily.
