Full disclosure...I refuse to pay for Paramount+ so yes I downloaded it. I started to watch the second episode and I just cannot understand this. It looks like Picard now has Romulan slaves working on his vineyard? The rest of the episode is jumbled mess with rehashing references from the last TNG movie with a couple of week action scenes involving an android woman that dies without contributing anything significant to the story. Has anyone watched this? Does this shit get better?
The "strong female character" definitely was front and center, but again she fucking dies but her "twin" is on a Borg ship. Can't wait to see how that got there.
I initially dismissed this pile of crap (for good reason it appears, always trust your instincts) until I saw an ad for season 2 featuring Q. Now Q was an awesome part of TNG and that peaked my interest.
