Blacks in Philadelphia found out Vietnamese don't trust banks and keep their savings at home so home invasion robberies became a trend. Vietnamese found out they could shoot intruders and so home invasion suddenly stopped. Apparently DC has a law against shooting intruders or even having self defense in your own home.

Even California has a Castle Doctrine. You might get in trouble if you shoot and kill a completely unarmed person but if they're armed it's fair game.

A bar maid told me she had a guy run through her back door asking to hide from police. She shot him the leg a started screaming for police who ran in arrested him and thanked her. This was in San Diego.
During Obama regime they were trying to get DC residents to voluntarily turn in their Guns and went door to door. Few cooperated as DC is a high crime area. The usual suspects.
