I won't be surprised if this AlohaSnackbar is cleared of all charges, but as far as I can tell his "incompetency" has only pushed the trial back until January, he has not been "let off". sauce (cpr.org)

He didn't get let off. He will begin getting medication for mental illness and once that happens will be deemed fit to stand trial.
