Do you have a picture or link to what you're talking about? I'm only home at most a week per month and I like as much peace of mind as possible for the wife and kids safety when I'm on the road.

Wife needs to be armed with a gun. Make sure she gets training first. The local gun range has a lot of help for the ladies.
Oh yeah. That was never a question. It just always helps the more time it takes for someone to enter the house.
