Just got back home from seeing the Joker movie. And it was a great movie! I just couldn't think of a better way to tell the story of how The Joker became the villain he is. What I like the best about that movie is that the director makes it clear cut that you shouldn't like him, but rather that you should understand where he came from and what factors contributed to him becoming the villain he is.

And Joaquin Phoenix's version of the Joker is probably the best Joker I've seen thus far. Like if there was another Dark Knight or Batman movie to be released soon, I could see Joaquin Phoenix being the Joker in it.

I liked it, but I don't see how the two versions of the joker out recently mesh. How does this clearly broken and insane man turn into the mob boss version we see played by Jared Leto? Kind of an unbelievable jump, but it is the movies, so I suppose it doesn't have to be logical / believable in all aspects.
