equal to me implies the same, I would go with equally important but not equal.
You used the term 2 halves which implies the same, but no big deal.
Either way AOU is a bit radical, taking my kids to see a movie once every 6 months to a year doesn't equate to child abuse under any law.
It doesn't equate to child abuse under the law but I don't think that is what he was implying, I'll admit I let my girls watch frozen 2 recently I still think it probably wasn't the best thing to do for their mental health.
Also I had this thought well after the fact but I thought it was worth saying, two halves of a whole do not need to be the same. A piece of ram and a hard drive are not the same but you wouldn't be on the internet with out both pieces. They are different but equally important.
