As much as I enjoy The Drinker this time around he's kinda a whiny prat. Of course we're all annoyed as fuck that woke-ism has come to the Bond franchise -- though it's clearly been on its way for several films now -- but surely a major plot point of this film would have to be concerning the angst over 007 becoming a black chick. And so of course the trailer is going to play on that, hence the total lack of response on Bond's part displayed in the trailer. I mean well DUH.
That doesn't mean that they'll handle it well in the movie itself -- and I am not expecting to be blown away by the film, the opposite in fact -- but to assume it based on just the trailer is shortsighted and irresponsible on Drinker's part. At least IMO.
+1 for the use of "whiny prat."
This is definitely not Drinker's best review, but it was entertaining enough (to me) to share. He still turns a few good phrases.
For me it's more about that than the actual movie quality.
