Yeah, this is not really a review but I didn't know a better place to put it.
I guess my lower post is a micro-review instead.
I have probably posted about this before but The Fifth Element is underappreciated and holds up to today as a huge amount of things they could have done "CG" they did with props.
Its like the old Alien movies (or other old movies) The early CG was good for the time but now looks like trash. This is still true for The Fifth Element but for the most part it looks good to this day.
With the Alien movies (if you watch them back to back) you can see when they put in some CG and it looks like trash. It looks like some cardboard cutout "zooming" back and forth in a hallway. Its ugly and sad.
This is one of my "guilty" movies that me and my Wife watch at least once a year and at one point you probably don't notice anything "new" anymore but its still a nice "We are chatting but want something on we like".
If you have never watched the movie, you should. That is my "review".
