I've been slacking too. My basement flooded in the spring. The water finally receded about a month ago, I've finally got my gym equipment dried out, and moved back into place, but I've been slacking in getting back into it.

What do you do when one of your current jobs makes it really hard to gymmaxx?

Go anyway, do what you can. Even hitting everything once a week is better than not. You won't win any races sitting on a couch.

I guess I didn't state myself correctly. I can't go to the gym as often as I want to because my job is one of the most physically demanding jobs there is, and I can't lift heavy the day before and trust myself to be ok on the job the next day.

Then you don't need the gym. The gym is just fake work for soft people like myself.

Still wouldn't hurt to do some cardio, though. That and good diet will help to stave off whatever softness you may be accruing, without tiring yourself out for work.
