But that's your sub, and as @starjello mentioned in another comment here, to avoid confusion and drama, sub's rules should be clear about what content can and can't be posted.
Now IMHO, places (subs in this context) where people can't have a negative opinion about a topic and where debate is not tolerated don't get too popular.
If you don't want specific topics to be posted, your sub, your rules.
Don't like me or Hawai'i, block away. THAT'S what Poal is all about.
On Poal, any point of view is welcome to the discussion and people are free to provide a counter argument.
I won't say it works all the time (especially the political topics) but eh... it doesn't hurt trying. ;)
