Here is a guide to expose those moderators and administrators who can not handle criticism.

I got this idea by observing how Bbb23 has deleted every criticism from his Wikipedia talk page during the last few weeks.

To find it out, what you need to do is:

First, publicly ask them (e.g. in the meta forum area or if it is a Wiki, on their Wiki talk page): “Can you handle criticism?” - or a variation of that question.

Immediately after doing that, submit the page with your question into at least one website archival service, and optionally save the parent page too.

Then wait for the response.

Responses

  • They ignore the question? Maybe they have not seen it yet, but that's unlikely. Send them a direct message referring to that question.
  • They delete it? Or they label you a troll or similar? Congratulations. You just got clear evidence of their inability to handle criticism. Especially if they take action against your account (which might not matter much because one should keep away from there anyway).
  • They claim they _can_ handle criticism? Then archive that reply too. If they react hostile next time they receive constructive criticism, they expose themselves as hypocritical.

If you test some suspicious moderator or administrator, let us know who succeeded and who failed the test by commenting or submitting a new post.

And if you have any suggestions for improvements, please comment.

Being a mod/admin is really a thankless job. I tend to cut them slack having done it before. Although I left Phuks over bad moderation. And well Reddit, everyone knows what a joke that place is.

You're right. Maybe some of them sometimes just have a bad day.

But the mods/admins on the leaderboardare certainly terrible mods/admins.
