This is in Jefferson County - next county South of St. Louis county. Hopefully they'll export/drive them all back into St. Louis.

This is not already illegal in the state?

Don't think so. Point was made that the Supreme Court's June decision makes prohibiting this legal now. There's lots of homeless encampments in St. Louis that aren't going anywhere, so its a policy decision that CAN be made. Of course St. Louis is a leftist shithole, so naturally they embrace homelessness. Used to do a 50 mile trail ride encompassing parts of South St. Louis City. Last time we did (a year ago in June) the trail system in and around Carondelet Park was horribly littered, had homeless camping on/along some of the trails, there was human shit on the trail and in spots lots of used hypodermic needles scattered about. So we decided fuck that.

I/we now ride more rural roads closer to home and occasionally do battle with deer now rather than subject myself to that filth. Glad Jefferson County feels the same way. For years there was an elitist stance in the city that Jefferson County was filled with dumb rednecks and a "respectable" person wouldn't be caught dead there. Sounds like they have their shit together much more so than St. Louis now.
