Okay pretty sure I actually tested everything this time.

I decided to go with a skyblock type modpack.

Once you have the launcher installed, click the third party mob packs tab and choose Agrarian Skies.

I'm still working on that one. You do need to install java, I should have the linux version working today.

I got the game installed. It is super fun. I can't join poal's server I assume because I haven't applied the mods. Is OpenJDX gonna be a problem?

Shouldn't be if you have the game running, you should just be able to open the launcher once Spork gets back to me with how got it to run or I figure it out.

Nice. I am having so much fun with this game. I've played way too much in the last 24 hours. Can't wait to join the multiplayer server.
