Okay pretty sure I actually tested everything this time.

I decided to go with a skyblock type modpack.

Once you have the launcher installed, click the third party mob packs tab and choose Agrarian Skies.

I started making a minetest server for us once. It's free, and just as effective at wasting limitless amounts of time before you lose all your diamond gear. It also has truly infinite worlds.
