I think it was how it was stored, to be honest. They both reeked of really stale cigarettes, but the Nazi flag is light cotton (very sturdy material), while the American just wasn't made with the same quality.

Nope. It is cotton as well. It has a blood stain on the bottom of it, and a stamp up top. Once I get home from work, I can take more photos.
