One of the biggest problems in collecting WW2 artifacts, regardless of which country, are the fakes. Since there is a large market for collectors, fakes are commonly sold as originals. Remember, the devil is ALWAYS in the details. When the bombs were falling on Berlin, they still took pride in all of their work. Do not buy the line of an item being late war, means poor craftsmanship.
