From the post:

>The U.S. Army is loosening some enlistment criteria amid the ongoing war with Iran. Most notably, the changes will allow Americans aged 42 and younger to join the Army starting April 20. The previous age limit was 35. The new law comes as the United States prepares to send additional troops to the Middle East, nearly one month after launching attacks on Iran alongside ally Israel on Feb. 28.

Heh, I scored an 85 on the ASVAB. My recruiters were very excited to push me on forward. But, since I was 17 at the time, they told me I could only choose from six different MOS which didn't include the 25B I wanted. Instead, they chose for me 12K and told me I could change it later. They lied about that.

25B is Network Engineer. 12K is plumber.

I know a few people with similar tales to tell. Mostly they were lied to.

There's a special place in hell for recruiters!
