Hahaha well. 12M in 3 hours carrying summer packing list (about 50 pound ruck) and full rattle (approx another 30 pounds) was the base standard for us grunts for EIB (Expert Infantrymans Badge). Of course back then we were not coed and the majority of my unit anyway did it in under 3 with time to smoke after. That's Airborne for ya though. The only ones that typically failed were the short fellas
