Boeing's X-37B or whatever is newer is the real sauce. It leverages hypersonic reentry speeds for deployment though they will not say it. Very hard to intercept something coming in so fast. Rods from God.

The bad part is it's made by boing. You may not need to intercept it, it may just quit on it's own.
