Marine. It isn't an indication of readiness to depart. Most units will still hold their local Marine Corps Ball. This was a cancellation of the official one only. Which is often attended by high level Staff Officers, Pentagon type personnel, and units specific to DC, such as, the Marine Band, and Presidential detail.

Still friends with many Marines, some reserves too. None I have spoken to, have mentioned any sort of advanced work ups outside the norm.

Of course that is anecdotal evidence as I know a small selection of Staff NCOs and Officers.

I guess the DC rats have too much going on, not to mention the heart attack of the Vice Commandant.

Lets see if we make it to USMC Fleet Week in May.

Yeah. Pretty rare.

No. I did a tail-spin broomsucka into a forehead stand with a double olly. Then I ran over my legs with my Kubota. I finished the move though. And got the girl. Ever see "The Last Dragon"? Basically about me. And yes. I am joking. My legs are awesome. Except for my knees and feet, which usually hurt, but not too bad.
