Even that is a cop out. The real reason they can't find pilots in particular is because not enough diversity hires can pass the test. Plenty of qualified white people would love to get their pilot's licence through the airforce.
The Air Force never had a problem filling pilot slots. The problem is for everything else: security forces, combat controllers, pararescue, engineers and the most critical of all: ground crews. You can't trust a nigger to turn a wrench, you can't trust them to inspect or repair aircraft.
