Not the big deal the press makes it out to be ... though the drinking part is a big no, no and heads will roll. The title is also incorrect, it was not at an ICBM Launch Facility, which is an entirely different animal. This was a Launch Control Facility, also known as Missile Alert Facility, which though it does house a two officer crew who man a Launch Control Center far underground in a secure vault like structure, topside of the facility is more like a convenient rest stop and motel kinda place for maintenance troops who need a spot to stay on an overnight trip to the missile field. Like a military bed and breakfast - LOL. Yet, as I said .. these guys are still in trouble ... but the fate of the world did not hang in the balance.
