The military tradition in my family, on this continent, goes all the way back to 1750, before it even was a nation. Males of each and every generation served. Our family tradition has always held that, if you wanted to continue to partake of the blessings of liberty, then you had to ante up. We weren't always good at it, but we always showed up. My grandfather. His brothers. My father. Me. All three of my sons. We all served. All the way back to the beginning. At one point, one of my sons was even deployed to Kandahar while I was near Garm Ser. That's two generations in one war.

But no more. That's it. We're done. If the us.gov is out of the, "securing the blessings of liberty for ourselves and our prosperity" (as they increasing appear to have been for some time now), then so are we. 272 years of family tradition, down the shitter.

Historically speaking, 235 years is not a bad run for a republic, as such things go. But it's been running on fumes for the last 50 years now. The Roman empire didn't end when the Visigoths showed up at the gates. That was just the final nail in the coffin. It ended when the average Roman citizen looked around himself and didn't see anything left that was worth his life to try and protect anymore. <--This is where we find ourselves now.

Actually "our posterity", which means descendants, meaning only Whites. They haven't been interested in that since the wrong side won the civil war.

It is a difficult topic. There are still many young men and women who enter the service with good intentions. Sadly they become nothing more than another arm of the globo-homos.

From what I've been reading the American military remains an excellent career choice as long as you avoid combat roles.

You don't get it. People are revoking support because that's the fastest way to weaken and kill this system (The US Fed Gov) that is in the process of trying to kill them. There's going to be a war between the US Fed Gov and the white populations soon and if you are on their side you are the enemy.

Same can be said for 90% of the police, who will fight for whomever signs their paycheck....and right now it looks more likely to be a commissar than a commissioner.

Any White American with any sense knows that the people that have taken over our government, our courts and our military have declared White Americans to be the enemy. The White people that created this country are systematically being discriminated against legally in favor of negroes, homosexuals, illegal invaders and so-called "people of color" (which just means anyone not White). They've even managed to turn a large percentage of dopey White women against their own kind. No White American with any sense would fight for this communist regime that calls them the enemy. They are the enemy that needs to be driven from our shores.

Hanoi jane and MSM started the destruction of the US. Military. The MEN of the USA are 'still' the most savage Protectors of our country and will destroy ALL enemies at all cost. The POLITICAL aspect of pretending WAR CAN BE CIVIL, with RULES, and WEAK Leaders that worry about what MSM will say HAS handcuffed the most Feared Military on Earth, Just like the liberals have made their policemen 'social workers'. The Idea of WAR is to Destroy the Enemy to STOP WAR.

We're not the most feared and haven't been for a while. We may be the most capable, but we're far from the most feared.

The most feared would be the most unpredictable. I'd put that label on China, Russia, Japan, and Israel.

Every country on the planet knows we will either look the other way or get fully involved for the right price.

Anyone who would have joined the Military back then are not sitting at home getting stocked up with guns and ammo waiting for the military to come and try to take them to a reeducation camps for not letting their kids get raped by tranny kikes.

I suppose a case could be made for joining the military for the purpose of advanced training in guerilla operations, sniper guns, logistics, and similar skills that would be useful in the future....or maybe as an embedded fifth column agent. Given the current military environment, that would require a lot of acting skill and self-control.
