I watched recently the Modern Marvels on the Ar15. And holy shit the Army didnt even want it. It took decades for the military to adapt the Ar.
Trip. I'm glad they did. The AR style (M16A2) I trained was a lot of fun; the M4 even more - 5.56 is a wonderful round. but 6.8... that's gotta be a satisfying shoot. From what I understand of the reasoning to move on makes a lot of sense to me. Now, if we can keep them here instead of ensuring our (((allies))) are well armed, we may just get a surplus. I also dig the fact they're keep the main rifle and the support (new SAW) the same caliber.
