I don't know what to feel man, some veterans did go crazy. The wife isn't always wrong and we're not as a nation doing enough. I think most divorce is over frivolous shit but sometimes it's survival and veterans aren't your typical group. Suicide rates really express that.

The unfortunate truth is many veterans are absolute pieces of shit. Just ordinary people put in extraordinary circumstances and everyone reacts differently. If religion made sense we'd all burn in hell.

Regardless of the reasons or legitimacy of divorces the current family laws which govern support orders are extremely unfair to non-custodial parents. Women know this and divorce is almost always an easy payday for them.

I don't know that it is the government's responsibility to grant or enforce orders at all. The more the government steps in, the less family and local communities have to do, replacing those key building blocks of our culture with government has not been good for our overall society.

All good points and if I told you I had answers I'd be lying.

I'm certainly no expert either, but I find the topic interesting.

has some well thought out points on how government has slowly replaced family and communities starting back around medieval times. It's a good read.
