You also didn't voluntarily sign up to deploy overseas and live in shithole locations around the world working 16 hours days (sometimes), either. Emergency personnel don't go years without sleeping in their own bed and missing countless anniversaries and family moments either. Give them a break. They've earned a holiday training exodus.
