I know all about it, you wait 6 months for a bolt you can go to a automotive store and buy for a dollar. In the mean time what’s been taken apart to get to the bolt gets misplaced.
And don’t even talk to me about glow plugs.
An hour to start a vehicle while waiting for a new glow plug, freezing your ass off and it finally shows up in the spring.
We had can planes for this absurd bullshit.
Wait a week or can a part off a plane in the graveyard.
We had enough parts, doors etc for one company to be operational ready. So the battalion and brigade commander would only do an inspection of one company a week.
So alpha company would go to all the companies take parts, be show time ready, after the inspection bravo would take everything from alpha and other companies and so on.
What a waste of time. Just admit you’re not operational ready to the fucking general and get us the shit we need.
