It's truly absurd. I am ashamed to have served in the military now. I gave several of my best years to "my country" (Israel) and perhaps I even saw a little action- I'm certainly more qualified as a warrior and leader than ol' Dick Levine there.
Unfortunately, nobody promoted me to admiral, even though I did my duty and did it well.
I also did not indirectly murder a few hundred elderly Pennsylvanians by subjecting them to terrible conditions while protecting my mother from these charnel houses they call "old age homes" or w/e. Being a politician or a general- must be nice, some of the only jobs where when you fuck up and get people KILLED, you are not held accountable for it! But a man accidentally runs someone over with a forklift? What happens to him? Does he get to keep his job? Does he face possible criminal charges, along with a civil lawsuit? Seems that judges, generals, and politicians are teflon when it comes to being absolutely fucking incompetent retards.
