This notion of "Civilized Warfare" causes more suffering than it alleviates. The most humane thing to do, if you have to go in and start stacking bodies, is to go in so hard and violent that it's over as quickly as possible. None of this "Let's arm local security forces so they can handle it" bullshit. If we have to bring the war machine to your country, it shouldn't be your country anymore.
