Suicide, and unfortunately this is 3rd soldier that I knew, that has died on that base.
This guy here Dakota Stump, was labeled as a deserter, but he was later found on the base in his car, off in some brush, deceased. Which I hardly find believable.

Says here a car accident.
Nice to read how the military treated his family. But its not surprising. You are a piece of meat. In the Army? A bullet catcher.
If you sign up thinking that you'll be part of this happy family you are a fool.
Well in the beginning they refused to look for him, called him a deserter and treated his mom poorly. He was found like 2 weeks later, after I believe it was a black hawk spotted a disturbance in the vegetation, from the sky during training. He was found nearly decapitated in the brush in his car, on base right after exit booth.
I have to agree my child was almost killed twice by stupid mistakes done by others... He is 100% disabled according to their ratings, yet has to remain as a reserve for like 6 more years.
As far as the guy goes what do you expect the Army to do?
They don't have jurisdiction in the real world.
Best that they could have done is report him missing; the parents might have done that too.
In any event, the solider died in an auto accident it looks like.
Stupid mistakes by military officers and NCOs ? Happens every day. Its why I refused to let my boy even think about continuing on my family tradition of being in the military. It ended with me.
