Says here a car accident.
Nice to read how the military treated his family. But its not surprising. You are a piece of meat. In the Army? A bullet catcher.
If you sign up thinking that you'll be part of this happy family you are a fool.
Well in the beginning they refused to look for him, called him a deserter and treated his mom poorly. He was found like 2 weeks later, after I believe it was a black hawk spotted a disturbance in the vegetation, from the sky during training. He was found nearly decapitated in the brush in his car, on base right after exit booth.
I have to agree my child was almost killed twice by stupid mistakes done by others... He is 100% disabled according to their ratings, yet has to remain as a reserve for like 6 more years.
As far as the guy goes what do you expect the Army to do?
They don't have jurisdiction in the real world.
Best that they could have done is report him missing; the parents might have done that too.
In any event, the solider died in an auto accident it looks like.
Stupid mistakes by military officers and NCOs ? Happens every day. Its why I refused to let my boy even think about continuing on my family tradition of being in the military. It ended with me.
They could've comb the base he was literally 10 feet away from exit both, he didn't crash he was placed there is my belief. There has been lots of questionable deaths there.
My kid was blown up in a Humvee with iud on our soil.
Then in another incident he went to medics for medical attention, thought he was suffering food poison. They refused to help him. He had to get his superior to go back to medics. Nearly died. Medics administered an IV that blew his potassium and put him in cardiac arrest, his heartrate was 186 bpm he was 20 years old. He was unaware he had graves disease, and thyroid issues. Which before signing up I don't believe he did have. he was perfectly healthy prior. Fastest runner in high school played baseball all year round.
When admitted to the hospital he found out his ribs were cracked and jaw was broken from earlier Humvee accident. So his jaw is all wired up and screwed together, like a year later thyroid was taken care of, he has alot of issues. He is in college to become a medic though.
