Bend was the home of Micro Cornucopia Magazine, a 1980s journal that originally covered the Ferguson Big Board and it's derivatives (Kaypro and Xerox 820 systems) before ending as a generic PC magazine. MicroC, as it was fondly known, was started by a Tektronix refugee and ran until he burned out on publishing a monthly magazine.
