Someone paid attention in flight school. From what I heard, they make you practice autorotation. (Years ago on Bill Burr's podcast)

That’s one hell of a ride on the Napali coast, I did that helicopter trip many years ago. You can hike that Kalalau trail 11 miles in and see many water falls. Absolutely gorgeous
