Every electronic thing that used to be done by mechanical means is shit now. My trunk has an electronic popper to open it. It broke, my gas tank has a popper for the outside door for gas. It broke. The best part is how my fly by wire electronic throttle is shit and has a 1 second delay, where my old Jeep with a BIKE CABLE for a throttle cable never did not work.

Like how much money did they save with a electronic gas pedal, servo for the throttle body, over a fucking metal cable that rarely breaks. Like it didn't save them money.

Like it didn't save them money.

It's all so A, it can be computer controlled so the NSA can shut it off, and B, so you can fix it yourself without more expensive tools and knowledge.

I agree heavily. Even the transmission gear selectors suck these days.

I think they do this in order to get people to upgrade to a newer vehicle.

Could your car be turbocharged? That could be turbo lag. If not, there are remaps in order to reduce this problem on drive by wire cars.

Could your car be turbocharged?

I fuckin WISH! No it has a lag from when I push in the gas to the engine reving. Maybe its less that a second but still bugs the shit out of me. All my other cars where older so instant speed up. My new car almost doesn't want me to go faster.

never did not work.

So it didn't work? Double negatives conveniently confuse me along with context online.

Fortunately, we don't get that on a stickshift.

That's be funny to watch.

Take it out of gear. TAKE it out of gear. TAKE IT OUT OF GEAR!

Military jeeps were push button start.

I've seen lots of cars up on blocks in the ghetto that were screwdriver start.

Some old trucks had a button on the floor you would step on.
