Sad. I'm a single parent and luckily am amicable with the other half. Recently we've been planning a settlement between ourselves we think is fair. I spoke to an attorney about the lump sum and she recommended that a family court attorney handle the details. I thought, hell NO. They'll just create problems. We kept things private between us and will continue to do so. The government is never there to help. They're sadistic overlords.I trust them less than a gang member.
