You clearly missed the entire point of the article. The upside down face looks normal because the eyes are flipped. Its nature not magic. In the picture of the woman her mouth is upside down, but its not really noticeable unless you actually take a good look at the picture. Optical illusions aren't meant/used to trick you long term. They use the natural way your brain works to trick you, until you pay attention.
