The idiot who wrote this tripe is misinformed. Governments don't have money - they take it from some and then give that same money to others (while taking out a huge slice for their pockets). The guaranteed basic income sounds all fair, good and sweet, but It's all a scam - especially when you realize that ALL taxes are paid for by the middle class. No one is getting any money out of the multi-millionaires and billionaires living in Washington State. The shrinking and disappearing middle class cannot afford to pay more taxes without dire consequences to the economy.

Basic income for some is not basic income.

Basic income for a 2bedroom apartment isn't basic income. Basic needs are a tent, a place to pitch it, cheap shoes, pants and a shirt, beans corn and rice and some meat once a week,. And don't let it be traded for cigarettes and alcohol.
