Yeah, I feel sorry for people that didn't let go and party hard when they were in their late teens.early 20s. I feel sorrier for the ones that didn't grow up and continued to party when they were in their late 20s and beyond.

It put me a decade behind my peers in my career, it permanently altered my brain chemistry, gave me a criminal record to show for it, it led me to seeing lots of fucked up things I probably shouldn't have seen...
Not sure if I'd feel sorry for someone who didn't get to experience all of the things I did. Suppose not everyone "let go and party hard" to those kinds of extremes, though. My days are rather peaceful, prosperous, and organized now... and it would be this I feel sorry for those not being able to experience.
Definitely don't feel sorry for those I know who continued to "party hard" well past their 20s, never grew up, and are paying the consequences of it now. It took a tremendous effort for me to climb out of the mile-deep hole I dug myself, and I guess I harbor a little resentment to my peers who never even tried to get better.
