OR!!!!
The US has to realize that a ‘job’ isn’t its own reward. Shitty pay, shitty treatment. Shitty prospects. Shitty healthcare. All take their toll. Like it or not, the lockdown and covid seem to have forced a realignment of a LOT of peoples expectations and ultimately it looks like a lot of people just shrugged it all of and decided “fuck it”. They are doing their own gig, off the books or just living small lives off the system… Can’t blame them, things need to change.
I’m not seeing any great resignation in the trades, but then we get good pay, the work is worthwhile, and (at least here) the benefits are good.
Now I’m sure some fuckery is afoot. McDonalds is obviously seizing on this to automate its stores and avoid the unionization of its workers… Better to replace them than pay them. There is also the fact that the elites are looking to bring about a collapse that they can use to bring about their agenda.
I can tell you this though, if the US could figure out the healthcare situation you would see a LOT of people start their own businesses / cottage industries once they are no longer held hostage by health insurance.
There is also the fact that the elites are looking to bring about a collapse that they can use to bring about their agenda.
I think this is a misconception and we saw the current regime do a pivot that fueled said misconception. USD has been a house of cards for... well... forever. It was only ever a ruse that would only ever end poorly. There's a reason we've never gone more than like eight years without some major gigantic war or scandal. Since the conception of this country we've been at war or on the verge of war somewhere and somehow. Why? It offers the economy a production boon. It reroutes authority systems which have been consequently abused in perpetuity.
Anyway, the idea is it's been on the brink of collapse for a while now and each time people pick up pitchforks or even just start squinting, the current regime uses their Mockingbird apparatus to quickly find a bird to point at and shout, "look over here! be distracted again!" If we got enough people to suddenly just say enough is enough and seek alternatives to USD, we'd fix a great deal of problems overnight. Governments cannot be in charge of currencies the way they are now. Allowing them to print is a mistake. Allowing them to over-regulate is a mistake. Allowing them to monitor everything under the guise of "national security" or "preventing money laundering" is a mistake. Allowing them to siphon even more of our tax dollars away only for them to say, "oops! I guess we used that money to do things you're not allowed to know about again..." is a mistake.
The way out is finding ways to decentralize currencies and give the free market another go. The issue is we can't have permanent allocations of funds to centralized authorities who do step in to prevent caustic monetary practices. The allocation of funds for regulatory ends must have an expiration date and these jobs must be temporary, just like any elected office. Until the current regime doesn't have permanent government positions and until they aren't secretly constructing continuity programs en masse, we're going to have a rerun of the same problems again and again in each generation.
once they are no longer held hostage by health insurance.
