Unless people adequately define what a mass exodus is then you will have unlimited differing conclusions. I am from the area and the sheep that have stayed are too engrained into the system to think otherwise. Those who have thought about it but went against it did so because they firmly believe they will be hunted for not being white. Those that do want to leave (myself) cannot afford it, so if there is a demographic of californians that have left this state it would probably be those who can afford it which might suggest they were the ones who were likely to usher the problems to begin with.
